RSE
Intent
We aim to enhance the emotional, social and cultural development of pupils, and that involves learning about relationships, sexual health, sexuality, healthy lifestyles, diversity, safety and personal identity. RSE involves a combination of sharing information, exploring issues and values.
Impact
They will become confident individuals who have positive body awareness, an in-depth knowledge of how to keep themselves safe and healthy, will show respect, tolerance and understanding, forge and maintain positive relationships with a diverse range of family and friendship groups.
Implementation
RSE is taught within the weekly lessons of personal, social, health and economic (PSHE) education curriculum. Biological aspects of RSE are taught within the science curriculum, and other aspects are included in Faith and Wonder (Religious Education).
