Maternity cover Jan 25 -26 (possibility of part-time there after)
Governors are looking to appoint an outstanding Teacher in Charge to cover maternity leave starting in January 2025 for 1 year in our new Special Support Centre for children with social communication and interaction differences at St Margaret’s CE Primary School, Angmering.
This exciting opportunity starts at the beginning of the spring term 2025 to enable the successful candidate to continue the excellent work of the new-build Tomlin Centre which opened in January 2024.
The Tomlin Centre is at the heart of our 2-form entry primary school and currently provides for 11 children. The school is in the centre of Angmering village and benefits from fantastic facilities, extensive playing fields, Forest School and an amazing staff team.
We are seeking an outstanding teacher with the highest expectations of themselves and the ability to inspire the whole SSC team, someone with an interest, experience and passion in supporting pupils with SEND, particularly those with communication and interaction differences. You will have excellent people-skills, lots of drive, commitment, vision and relish the opportunity to develop the team to provide a place of excellence for the children.
You will be required to complete an application form with basic personal information and we ask that you complete a personal statement of no more than 2 sides of A4. This should outline your educational vision and experience of working with children with communication and interaction needs.
St Margaret’s has the safeguarding of children at its heart and an enhanced DBS will be required for this role.
