Mr B Baker - (Foundation Governor)

I have lived in Angmering village nearly all my life.  As a child I went to St Margaret’s School when Mr. Boreham was Headteacher.

I work in IT as a Senior Technical Consultant, where I work closely with schools creating and reviewing IT Strategies and planning and completing IT projects.

My son started St Margaret's in September 2023, and I would like to help ensure there are high aspirations for all children in the school and a commitment in achieving the best possible outcomes to all pupils.

I have strong links to the St Margaret's Church and feel that the Christian faith is important to maintain and develop for our children.

I believe that I have many skills to offer as a governor, not only with my IT experience but also with strategy development and budget planning.  I have strong interpersonal and leadership qualities and general experience in education across a wide variety of settings from public to state schools across all age groups.

When I get the time, I enjoy playing a round of golf or hitting a few balls at the driving range, although since having children these golf club visits have become increasingly far between.  In the evening I enjoy spending time with my family and enjoy cooking.
